The owner of this Minnetonka condo was ready to update her dated 90s primary bathroom. Referred to us by her sister, a lovely former client, this project was a fun family affair! (Jason’s daughter Hanna also came along for a site visit!)
Typical to many homes of the era, the bathroom included a giant whirlpool tub and an undersized shower. The homeowner still got a lot of use out of the bathtub but wanted it to have a new, cleaner look. She also wanted to replace the shower and maximize its size.
We planned to install a rectangular tub and a connecting shower flanked by glass on two sides. Still in good condition, we kept the original vanity, and a new tub panel was created to match the cabinetry.
This client has great taste and chose beautiful finishes, such as textured subway wall tile, Cambria Malvern countertops, and Kohler plumbing fixtures. We also worked with an incredible tile installer who meticulously detailed the wall tile to coordinate with the transition to the tub deck and surrounding walls.
