Woodbury Basement Remodel
Before remodeling, the basement of this 90s home was one big open space constantly used as a dumping ground for workout gear, seasonal decor, and other items. The homeowner wanted to
transform the basement into an inviting place where the family’s teenage daughters could hang out while doubling as an area to entertain guests.
Jason Receives Two New NARI Certifications
Jason earned two new certifications from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (
NARI) in 2023! The MCKBR certification is such an honorable designation that, at this time, only two other remodelers in the entire state of Minnesota have earned it! Jason and the J. Carsten team are proud of this hard-earned recognition.
Spring Remodelers Showcase
Originally built in 1993, this Eagan home had some updates in the past, but it lacked the space and storage the homeowners needed. The solution? A complete main floor makeover! Our first task was to open up the space by removing the wall separating the dining room and kitchen. The new design features a 9-foot-long island with seating for four, plus a wall of buffet cabinets and a large pantry. Explore more photos

Minneapolis Primary Bathroom Remodel
Our team helped the owners of this Minneapolis home give the primary bathroom a genuinely stunning transformation. We love the Sea Glass painted vanity, gold hardware, and Cambria quartz countertop! The bathroom has a spa-like feel with heated floors and a walk-in tile shower.

Located in St. Paul’s charming Highland Park neighborhood, our team helped these homeowners create their dream kitchen! The client’s vision for this remodel centered around an island painted in Farrow & Ball’s Green Smoke; they also wanted to improve the kitchen layout and freshen up the main level powder bathroom. The
finished remodel is genuinely one for the books! The new kitchen is just as beautiful as it is functional.

Charming St. Paul Kitchen Renovation
We shared this charming St. Paul kitchen renovation in July 2023. Before the remodel, the kitchen was small — and falling apart! The tile was falling off the edges of the countertop, and tiles were popping off the floor. The cramped size meant little room for meal prep and nonexistent storage. The goal for this remodel was to create a larger, more functional kitchen while incorporating the homeowners’ “must-haves.” Check out the before and after photos
