The world has been collectively turned upside down due to COVID-19 and the regulations to prevent its spread. In this time of uncertainty, we wanted to update you on how our team is adjusting business operations.
As you may know, Governor Walz issued a “shelter-in-place” order on March 24, which requires Minnesota residents to stay home except to participate in approved activities. This order also requires nonessential businesses to halt operations. At this time, residential construction, land development, and real estate transactions are considered essential.
While J. Carsten Remodeling is still open for business, we are taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We strongly encourage our team, trade partners, and clients to exercise caution at this time. In addition to following social distancing guidelines, J. Carsten Remodeling is adhering to the precautions proposed by Housing First MN, including the following.
- Promote frequent and thorough hand washing.
- Encourage workers to stay home if they are sick.
- Encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes.
- Discourage the sharing of personal items, such as construction equipment or tools.
Once work has been completed in any client’s home, it will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. If you have questions about working with our team, or would like to schedule a consultation, feel free to get in touch.
From all of us at J. Carsten Remodeling, thank you for placing your trust in our team! We are grateful for your patience and understanding as we take measures to adjust to the current situation.
Stay safe, and know that we are looking forward to continuing to serve you!
