2020 Year in Review

The holiday season is here, and the end of 2020 is within reach. The COVID-19 pandemic has made this year long and hard for so many of us. As an essential business, J. Carsten Remodeling was fortunate to remain open for business throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

As we approach 2021, we’re thinking about our favorite moments and projects from the past year; read about them all below!

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2021!

Jason on Twin Cities Live
J Carsten Remodeling Owner Jason Myrlie with Twin Cities Live Hosts Steve and Kelli
In February, Jason joined Twin Cities Live during their coverage of the Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show. During the show, Jason taught hosts Steve and Kelli about some tools of the trade. The duo took turns trying to identify each one, resulting in some interesting answers!

Mentoring Eagan Students at The Building and Remodeling Show

Jason had a great time leading the next generation of workers as they learned the tricks of the trades at The Building and Remodeling Show. Kudos to Team Eagan High School for their skills!

Edina Bathroom Remodels

We remodeled three bathrooms at once in this lovely Edina home. A few favorite features from this project are the custom 90” tall doors for the laundry area and the bright, fun, floral wallpaper!

Burnsville Three-Season Porch

These clients in Burnsville said goodbye to their deck to make way for a new three-season porch addition and deck. We love how cozy, bright, and rustic the space feels!

Warm and Welcoming Inver Grove Heights Remodel
White kitchen island with quartz countertops and pendant lighting

This project turned out beautifully; visit our blog for a peek inside!

The Myrlie Family Gets Ducks!
